Periodic Cabin Crew Medicals
The CAA mandates that all cabin crew must have a medical examination carried out every five years. A cabin crew periodic medical assessment is valid for 60 months (five years). The examination includes a general physical examination (e.g. chest, heart sounds etc.) and a vision and hearing test.
Other Cabin Crew Medicals
In some situations, for example when the cabin crew member is returning from a sick leave or in case of an ongoing medical condition, a more frequent medical test may become necessary.
